Enhancing the occupational therapy field

As a seasoned occupational therapist new to the specialty area of hippotherapy, I found this book an essential reference tool. Barbara Engel has once again compiled literature that explores treatment techniques and current research to help the practitioner, academic or business owner. But this time her book is written for me, an occupational therapist! I particularly appreciate clarification on how hippotherapy differs from the other types of equine assisted therapies and why it should be a part of an occupational therapist's practice.

At last an updated book in plain english for everyone who works in this field. Great book heaps of ideas and quaintification of what we do. There is no I in team and this book acknowldges that the horse is one of the team not just a commodity :)
